Q: What is Shareware?

A: Shareware is a classification of software that allows you the opportunity to try the software before you make a purchase. Often this means there is a free trial period where you can try out the application to be sure that it will suit your needs before you pay any money. Shareware software is NOT free.

Q: Isn't Shareware software free?

A: No. Shareware often comes with a period where you can use the product for free, often called a trial period. If you choose to continue using the software beyond the trial period, you must purchase the software or remove it from your system.

Q: Aren't some of the programs free?

A: Yes! Any software listed as a Trial is Shareware and is not free. However, we have many free programs that are listed as such next to the file. All the versions of UnRAR are free downloads, so you can extract RAR files for Free with one of those utilities. WinRAR is NOT free.

A: These products are a one-time purchase with no ongoing or recurring fees. The license also includes future versions as free upgrades.
